About Andrew
Andrew was elected to Edmonton City Council in 2013, representing Wards 1 and Nakota Isga.
Now, he’s running for Mayor to make Edmonton a place for working people—not wealthy developers, political parties or special interests. He knows better than anyone the mistakes of the past and has the solutions to make it right going forward. He just needs a council that is willing to do the work.
Andrew’s qualifications include:
- Throughout his time on Council, Andrew led many key initiatives, including NextGen, Seniors, Public Engagement, and Transportation Innovation.
- Served as Council representative on the Accessibility Advisory Committee, Edmonton Transit System Advisory Board, and the Edmonton Public Library Board of Trustees.
- Championed the Lewis Farms Recreation Centre and Library and pushed for more accessible transit for seniors and youth.
- As the lead on the Seniors Initiative for nearly a decade, Andrew has been one of the most consistent and effective voices for older adults in our city.
- Most importantly Andrew has made a career of listening. He is always engaging with average working Edmontonians at the door step and online. He has proven that your voice means more to him than high price lobbyists and developers.
