Why We Endorse Ashley
Ashley is fighting for affordable housing, climate policy, sustainable urban growth, and public transit.
My focus is on advancing safe, healthy, and inclusive communities with evidence-informed policy. As a returning councillor, I will continue working to build an Edmonton where everyday people can build extraordinary lives.
About Ashley
Ashley Salvador has represented Ward Métis on City Council since 2021. Ashley is a non-profit founder with a masters degree in urban planning and over a decade of municipal experience.
She has led work on economic development, affordable housing, infrastructure renewal, and more. To get more done Ashley needs a group of councilors who put working families first so they can move forward addressing our crucial issues.

- She is the founder of the non-profit organization, YEGarden Suites, which has supported over 8,000 Edmontonians, and helped pave the way for tens of millions of dollars in annual community investment.
- She spearheaded the creation and implementation of a new Dedicated Renewal Fund to address Edmonton’s $470M annual infrastructure gap with sustainable, long-term planning, and has supported the introduction of a sweeping set of tools to address vacant and derelict problem properties.
- She served as a Council Advisor on the Energy Transition Climate Resilience Committee of Council, Edmonton Arts Council, and City of Edmonton Youth Council, as well as a Council representative on Alberta Municipalities Environment Committee, and the River Valley Alliance.
